Benchmark Appoints Gregory Allowe Managing Director
at Naples Bay Resort, Naples, Florida

Woodlands (Houston), Texas, October 2008 � Benchmark Hospitality International
has announced the appointment of Gregory Allowe as managing director for
Naples Bay Resort, the luxury property that opened earlier this year in
Naples, Florida. Sam Haigh, president and chief operating officer,
made the announcement.

Throughout his distinguished career, Greg Allowe has built a solid reputation for positive hands-on leadership with each successive appointment. He brings an important sales and customer-focused orientation to his new role. Mr. Allowe previously served as president of GAP Hospitality Consulting, where he was responsible for opening an independent luxury resort located in Breckenridge, Colorado. Allowe has served as vice president and managing director for The Townsend, a Preferred Hotel located in Birmingham, Michigan, and as general manager for the Nordic Hills Resort of Itasca, Illinois. Earlier in his career, Greg Allowe invested ten years with Hyatt Hotels, serving as director of operations for the company�s property in Schaumburg, Illinois. He also held key positions with Hyatt properties in New Orleans, San Francisco, Denver and Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Allowe began his career with Hyatt in food & beverage operations and the rooms department. Mr. Allowe lives in the Naples area and brings intimate knowledge of this destination market to his new role.
