Le Grand Lodge Mont-Tremblant Receives
Their 4th Award This Year
Mont-Tremblant, November 12th 2008 At the 8th annual Gala of Excellence held Saturday by the Mont-Tremblant Chamber of Commerce, Le Grand Lodge received the 2008 Restaurant/Bar award for its restaurant Chez Borivage. This is the fourth award this year for Chez Borivage after receiving two Golden Awards from Grand Prix du tourisme québécois for David Ouellet, sous chef and Steven Lortie, Maître D in the Human Resources category for Relief and Supervisor of the Year, respectively; plus the regional Table dargent award, also given within the Grand Prix du tourisme québécois. What a wonderful recognition from our local peers! Michel Garnier, General Manager of the hotel. « We have made a concerted effort over the past two years to bring in the people from the Tremblant area, working with many organizations and hosting local events; and this award shows us it has been appreciated. We often have guests telling us how much they enjoy eating at our restaurant, now we are hearing it more and more from the Tremblantois; and that is music to our years. Congratulations to all my team at the Grand Lodge. This award is dedicated to each one of them. Québec is known for having an array of very fine dining, explains
Bill Burruss, President of Distinguished®, but it is rare to find
a restaurant that so naturally combines authenticity and warmth with such
culinary innovation and exquisite menus every season. This is really the
Chez Borivage trademark. I congratulate them for a well deserved award,
and I am very proud to count them as part of our network.
