M@R Hospitality Completes $5 million Conversion
of the Best Western
Eden Park Hotel to the Holiday Inn Express LaGuardia Airport
November 24, 2008 - IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group) and M@R Hospitality Group announce the opening of the new Holiday Inn Express, LaGuardia Airport. More than $5 million dollars have been invested over the last two years to convert this property from the Best Western Eden Park Hotel to a Holiday Inn Express LaGuardia Airport and we are looking forward to the end result said Amit Gandhi and Manish Patni, Partners of MR Hospitality Group, “ Holiday Inn Express LaGuardia Airport is modern, fresh, clean, uncomplicated and a perfect fit for this airport location”. The Holiday Inn Express LaGuardia will be one of the first of the New York City Hotels to open in the IHG Brand Re-launch campaign.
The new six story property located at the crossroads of both New York City airports, downtown Manhattan and nearby Long Island. The Holiday Inn Express LaGuardia is minutes away from LaGuardia Airport, (complimentary shuttle service from LaGuardia Airport) The US Open Tournament, New York Met’s Citi Field and within walking distance of Corona’s Flushing Meadows, The Hall of Science and The World’s Fair Unisphere Park.
The new Holiday Inn Express LaGuardia Airport offers a variety of amenities such as Nortic Track fitness center, corporate business center, free high-speed Internet access and free local phone. Business travelers will find large desks with ergonomic chairs, refrigerators, two phones with private voice mail and complimentary USA Today newspapers.
The hotel’s newly enhanced complimentary Express Start* breakfast bar will feature a full selection of breakfast items including cheddar cheese omelets, bacon, sausage, biscuits, yogurt, fruit and the brands proprietary cinnamon roll and Smart Roast* coffee. The Simply Smart room package incorporates a Stay Smart* Kohler showerhead, upgraded 100% cotton terry towels and a bedding collection including duvet blanket and soft 200 thread count sheets.
