As general manager, Kunst will oversee all operational, sales and administrative aspects of the hotel. She most recently served as the hotel�s director of sales, and has more than 18 years of experience in the hospitality field. Kunst previously held multiple positions at the Hartford Marriott Farmington, and was the area account executive and task force sales manager for Marriott properties in North Carolina. She also served as catering manager at the Metro Center Marriott in Washington D.C, and before joining Waterford was the director of community relations for Benchmark Senior Living.

Kunst is a native of Avon, CT, and currently resides in Colchester.  She attended the University of Connecticut, where she earned a Bachelors Degree in Communications in 1990.
