Four Points by Sheraton Opens Newly Built 150 room
Hotel in Manhattan’s SoHo District

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y.- September 10, 2008 - Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. (NYSE: HOT) today announces the opening of Four Points by Sheraton Manhattan SoHo Village, the area’s first newly constructed, moderately priced hotel. Owned by SoHo Village LLC, this stylish and affordable 150-room property offers travelers great beds, an active social scene and popular extras including free high-speed Internet access and free bottled water. Four Points by Sheraton Manhattan SoHo Village is ideally located in New York City’s lively SoHo district, on the border of Greenwich Village. This marks the second Four Points by Sheraton hotel to open in New York, joining its sister property the Four Points by Sheraton Manhattan Chelsea. Four Points will continue its New York City expansion with the opening of the Four Points by Sheraton Midtown-Times Square in early 2009. 

Four Points by Sheraton Manhattan SoHo Village is located at 66 Charlton Street between Varick and Hudson Street, just steps from a variety of upscale boutiques, art galleries, restaurants, cafes and clubs. The hotel is close to Chinatown, Little Italy, Chelsea and Tribeca, and a short subway ride from the Broadway theater district, Midtown Manhattan, the World Financial Center and Wall Street.

The industrial look of the hotel’s interiors mirror the energy and industry of downtown Manhattan, while the hotel’s black brick and steel exterior is complemented by a steel and glass canopy covering the front plaza of the hotel. Magnificent views of the city and the Hudson River are available from the comfortable and stylish guest rooms, which include two luxury suites with hardwood floors. Guests can enjoy floor-to-ceiling windows, 42-inch plasma televisions and the luxurious Four Points by Sheraton Four Comfort Bed, an ensemble featuring a plush mattress, an assortment of pillows and duvet. Rooms are come with free high-speed Internet and free bottled water.
