at the World Retail Awards 2008 in Palau Nacional, Barcelona
July 18, 2008 - The World Retail Awards 2008 organized by Emap Communications in association with Oracle®, has become one of the world’s most distinguished award ceremonies celebrating global retail excellence. This prestigious event is part of the World Retail Congress and all categories that make up the World Retail Awards are judged by an expert panel of judges, the Grand Jury, who select retail organizations that are deemed to be the best in the world.
Presenting the award for Retail Destination of the Year at the April 2008 gala was Andrea Bills, Vice President of New Business Development for Valencia Group, a Houston (USA)-based company, actively involved in the development and operation of luxury hotels that has distinguished itself for being a premier hotel anchor in retail projects and mixed-use environments. Ms. Bills presented the award to “Zlote Tarasay” in Poland, a mixed-use development in the centre of Warsaw, as the winner of the Retail Destination of the Year.
