Daniel Edward Craig Parlays Career as a Hotel Executive
into a Second Career as a Novelist, Releases
New Book "Murder at Hotel Cinema"

Vancouver, B.C. July 30, 2008 - Parlaying his career as a hotel executive into a second career as a novelist, Daniel Edward Craig has released his second installment in the Five-Star Mystery Series, Murder at Hotel Cinema. In this star-studded sequel to Murder at the Universe, Craig pokes good-humored fun at the celebrity-crazed Los Angeles culture from the perspective of dedicated hotel manager Trevor Lambert.

After the tragic death of the love of his life, Trevor moves to LA to manage Hotel Cinema, a multi-million-dollar rejuvenation of an Old Hollywood motor inn. Its the scene of a fabulous opening party until Tinseltowns hottest star, Chelsea Fricks, takes a fatal dive from the penthouse balcony. Rumors fly about a reckless publicity stunt or fame-driven suicide, but Chelseas stab wounds tell another story. Hotel Cinema becomes the setting for a comical murder mystery starring Chelseas pit bull publicist, her pinup boyfriend, a tasteless tabloid reporter, a star-struck detective, and Trevors insufferable boss. Struggling to protect his prized employees from the incriminating glare of the LAPD and the prying eyes of reporters, Trevor is forced to step into the spotlight, risking everything to expose the true killer.

With an insiders view of the hotel industry, Craig has worked for some of Canadas finest hotels, currently as Vice President of Opus Hotel in Montreal. Craig is all too familiar with the challenges of catering to celebrity clientele. I could write a tell-all about the situations Ive encountered, he says, but discretion is paramount in the hotel businessand its more fun to write fiction. In Murder at Hotel Cinema a hotel managers worst nightmare occurs when a famous guest is murdered on property. Im happy to say the murder part is pure invention.
