Located on a scenic oceanfront bluff and including 22 acres of forest and seaside trails, the 50-room hotel features stunning views, a massive stone fireplace/bar, fine dining and hot tubs or fireplaces in most rooms. Just 90 minutes north of San Francisco in Jenner near the mouth of the famed Russian River, the inn has a long history of convivial hospitality which will now be enhanced by the partners.

The refurbishing, which is already under way, includes new carpet, drapes, bedding, soft goods, bar and kitchen equipment, and renovation of the lobby, bar and restaurant. The Inn�s menu will be upgraded to increase the quality of the meals and make use of local ingredients that will include organic fruits and vegetables, Sonoma cheeses, organic farm-raised chicken, lamb, and local seafood including oysters from Tomales Bay, salmon and Dungeness crab. The wine list will focus primarily on acclaimed Sonoma wines from the Sonoma Coastal appellation but also wines throughout the region. The Inn also will host special events featuring local musicians, wine tastings, star gazing and other treats specific to the beautiful Sonoma Coast.

R.D. Olson Development purchased the Timber Cove Inn at an undisclosed price after lengthy negotiations with former owner Richard Hojohn.
