TIG Global Receives Top International Honors for
Website Design and Internet Marketing

TIG Global Wins Three Summit Creative Awards


Chevy Chase, MD – May 5, 2008 – TIG Global (www.TIGglobal.com), the leading Internet marketing company for hospitality and travel, recently announced the receipt of three Summit Creative Awards for its work with the El San Juan Hotel and Casino, the Brown Palace Hotel and Spa, and the LXR Luxury Resorts-American Express co-op promotional program.  The annual competition acknowledges the artistic endeavors of small and medium sized companies worldwide and has become the premier authority of creative excellence.  This year’s Summit Creative Awards attracted entrants from twenty-six different countries and judged participants on their level of creative innovation, strength in execution, persuasiveness, and ability to communicate the core message.

The three Summit Creative Award honors each recognized a different interactive marketing solution and attested to TIG Global’s strong range of e-marketing services. TIG Global created a strategic marketing plan for the El San Juan Hotel and Casino to support its redefined brand image and new website (http://www.elsanjuanhotel.com). The comprehensive e-marketing program consisting of paid search marketing, strategic linking, and email marketing delivered a 45% YOY increase in direct online revenue to the El San Juan Hotel and Casino. For the Brown Palace Spa, TIG Global created a unique email marketing program for the holiday season that encouraged customers to create a digital “Brown Palace Spa wish list” and share it with their family and friends. The email campaign subsequently drove traffic to a custom landing page where individuals could purchase gift certificates for the requested spa treatments.  The viral aspect of the campaign generated additional brand awareness beyond the original email distribution list and drove a significant amount of traffic to the Brown Palace Spa website. TIG Global was also honored for its design of the LXR-American Express co-promotional landing page (http://www.luxuryresorts.com/exclusive).  The winning landing page design offers American Express Centurion members a free night’s stay at one of 19 LXR Luxury Resorts and Hotels and includes direct links to the participating hotel websites. The sleek, distinct design evoked a luxurious, elite feel and teased guests with a single complimentary night’s stay that was typically extended to include several nights at regular rates.
