Patrick Cook Named Director of Sales and Marketing for
InterContinental Chicago O'Hare in Rosemont, Illinois
|Rosemont, IL., (June 11, 2008) - Patrick Cook has been
named director of sales and marketing for the Chicago area's new luxury
hotel, the InterContinental Chicago O'Hare which opens September 3, 2008,
in fast-growing Rosemont.
Cook brings more than 21-years of hospitality experience to the 560-room luxury property, managed by Portfolio Hotels & Resorts, based in Oakbrook, IL. He previously held the position of director of sales and marketing at the Holiday Inn Select Naperville, also managed by Portfolio Hotels & Resorts. "Patrick is a seasoned hotelier and his wealth of industry expertise will be a valuable asset to our unique venue, which masterfully blends contemporary art and cutting-edge design with world-class service," stated General Manager, David Hall.
Cook will oversee development and execution of all marketing initiatives for this dazzling new destination hotel which will offer more than 53,000 square-feet of premium meeting and event space, a live entertainment theater, Museo art gallery and three world-class restaurants. He holds a BS in Marketing from Salisbury University in Maryland and currently resides in La Grange Park with his wife and three children.
The InterContinental Chicago O'Hare is located minutes from the airport, close to the Allstate Arena, Rosemont Theatre, Donald E. Stephens Convention Center and is convenient to McCormick Place and Chicago's Loop.
