Michelle Duncan Hired as the Executive Chef of the
Remodeled Clevelander Hotel in Miami Beach
June 24, 2008 - Michelle Duncan, of Los Angeles, was recently
hired as the Executive Chef of the newly remodeled Clevelander Hotel in
Miami Beach, due to re-open this Fall after a $35 million renovation.
Prior to coming to the Clevelander, Michelle was the Kitchen Manager at Ciudad Restaurant in Los Angeles, working under Owner/Chefs Mary Sue Milliken and Susan Feniger. Previously Michelle was at White Horses Restaurant in San Clemente, The Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, and King�s Fish House in Long Beach. After interning at the Elk Ridge Lodge in Cora, Wyoming, Michelle graduated from the California School of Culinary Arts with Honors and a 4.0 GPA. The Clevelander�s newly designed kitchen is the work of renowned chef and culinary consultant Robin Haas, who is also collaborating on the menu with Ms. Duncan. Michelle has hired Adrian Talavera, assistant kitchen manager of Studio Diner in San Diego, and Jason Their, assistant kitchen manager of Kings Fish House in Long Beach, California to work with her at the Clevelander. |
