Herb Arnold Appointed as Director of Sales for
Biltmore Farms Hotels, Asheville, North Carolina

ASHEVILLE, NC � June 2, 2008 - Herb Arnold has been appointed as Director of Sales for Biltmore Farms Hotels. Arnold has over 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry. He comes to Asheville from a position at the Hilton Charlotte University Place in Charlotte, NC. During his time in Charlotte, he was an active member of the local Chamber of Commerce, Convention & Visitor�s Bureau, Charlotte Hospitality Alliance, Hilton of the Carolinas Co-op, Charlotte Business Guild, and the Latin American Chamber of Commerce. His organizational fundraising effort, Charlotte�s Midtown Food Showcase, won the North Carolina award for outstanding contribution to benefit the March of Dimes organization. Arnold will oversee sales efforts for the company�s four Asheville area hotels, which include the Doubletree Biltmore, Residence Inn Biltmore, Sleep Inn Biltmore, and the Quality Inn & Suites Biltmore South. His office will be based in the Doubletree Biltmore, located in historic Biltmore Village. Arnold joins Biltmore Farms Hotels during a period of growth and expansion. This July, the Doubletree Biltmore will open a five-story Concierge Tower with luxurious suites and 6,000-squre-feet of state-of-the-art meeting space.
