Opens Under Remington's "The Gallery" Collection

DALLAS, June 3, 2008 - One Ocean(TM) Resort Hotel and Spa, the first property developed under Remington's new "The Gallery" collection, celebrates its grand opening this month in Atlantic Beach, Fla. The 193-room oceanfront property features a signature Gallery showcasing original works by celebrated American photographer Greg Whitaker; The Spa at One Ocean, a world-class spa with 8 oceanfront treatment rooms; gourmet dining by noted Executive Chef Ted Peters at Azurea; and 10,000 square feet of flexible indoor/outdoor meeting space.

In keeping with The Gallery's promise to combine an expression of luxury with art and photography in authentic, natural settings, the resort's guest services and amenities include a staff of "Docents" or personal concierges who guide guests through their arrival and discovery, matching experiences to interests.

As the first Remington "Gallery" property, One Ocean(TM) Resort Hotel and Spa represents the company's newest initiative to create a signature collection of luxury resort hotels in some of the world's most breathtaking destinations. Among their distinguishing characteristics, The Gallery properties feature unique photography that connects each resort hotel's creative spirit and surroundings and appeals to guests' sense of discovery. The Gallery's mantra Always in Your Element(TM) perfectly describes the guest experience, which is characterized by seamless service and customization.
 
 

About the The Gallery

CONCEPT: 
The Gallery� concept is a signature collection of luxury resort hotels by Remington, designed to embrace unique settings while connecting to core natural elements, with services, amenities and activities addressing guests� individual interests and preferences.  These resort hotels will feature a range of dining and recreational options, including world-class spas and golf courses; select properties will offer resort ownership options. 

The Gallery plans properties in some of the world�s most coveted destinations, presenting authentic experiences, intuitive service and elegant settings.  With �Always in Your Element� as its mantra, The Gallery will forge guest experiences and loyalty through seamless service and customization.  The �Gallery� term describes Remington�s artful approach to both home and escape, integrating artistic and photographic themes throughout the guest experience. 

THE ART OF HOSPITALITY:
Photographic Galleries will be provided for guests to enjoy at each resort, and the décor of the lobbies, restaurant, spa and guest rooms will showcase lifestyle photographic artworks. 

�Docents� will serve as personalized concierges will guide guests through the art of discovery at each resort.  This will create lasting, memorable impressions unique to the interests of each guest. 

The Gallery has commissioned noted lifestyle photographer Greg Whitaker to shoot original works for The Gallery.  His unique lifestyle images will embrace the essence, emotion and core elements of the resort experience. 

Photography workshops and lessons will be offered at The Gallery properties, which will sponsor local aspiring photographers whose works will be featured onsite.  Docents will provide assistance and support with photo processing, printing and equipment needs. 

As The Gallery�s youngest guests enjoy on-site Kids Clubs, photos will capture their experience and commemorate family vacations.
