ORLANDO — JUNE 10, 2008 — EZYield.com, the originator of automated online channel management solutions for the hospitality industry, today announced that Destination Hotels & Resorts, the fourth largest independent hospitality management company in the country with headquarters in Denver, has chosen EZYield.com as their extranet channel management software partner.
“With EZYield.com’s technology, we are now visible on more Web sites and selling more room categories than was previously possible due to time constraints,” stated Tyler Williams, vice president of revenue services for Destination Hotels & Resorts. “Being an independent hotel company, we need as many lines in the water as we can get, as it relates to accurate and current online distribution. As more Destination properties continue to come online, the distribution of those rates and availabilities will remain easy and “much more seamless than before,” stated Williams.
“Studies by the Travelers Industry Association show that at least 65 percent of the 98.3 million travelers who are online (63.8 million) use the Internet to make travel plans, at least 70 percent use the Internet for travel planning, and at least 45 percent of all travelers have made travel reservations on the Internet during the past year,” stated Henry Danish CEO of EZYield.com. “Being able to reach those consumers is vital for Destination Hotels & Resorts, and we’re proud that our software produces measurable results for them and for all of our EZYield.com clients.”
