Mark Becker Named General Manager at the
294 room Hyatt Regency in Sarasota, Florida

SARASOTA, Fla. - April 1, 2008 � Hyatt Regency Sarasota is pleased to announce the appointment of Mark Becker to the position of General Manager.  Becker comes on board as the hotel is completing a $22 million renovation project to its guestrooms, meeting space, dining outlets and common areas. 

�I�m thrilled to join the team at Hyatt Regency Sarasota and am looking forward to leading the hotel into a new era of service and quality,� said Becker.  �Our redesigned guestrooms have a bright and airy feel, our meetings facilities will be second to none and our new restaurant will introduce a fresh dining concept that guests and locals will surely enjoy.�

Becker is a Hyatt veteran who comes to Sarasota from Southern California where he was Rooms Executive at the 1625-room Manchester Grand Hyatt in San Diego.  In his 18 years with the company, he has served in various positions at Hyatt hotels and resorts throughout the U.S. and Caribbean.  Becker is a native of Hampton Bays, New York and received his degree in hotel and restaurant management at Boston University.
