Diane Mombourquette Named General Manager of the
Black Rock Oceanfront Resort in Ucluelet, British Columbia

of Diane Mombourquette as General Manager of the spectacular new Black
Rock Oceanfront Resort in Ucluelet. Located on the west coast of British
Columbia�s Vancouver Island, Mombourquette will lead the hotel through
its highly anticipated opening in early summer 2008 and carry on to build
its reputation as one of Canada�s finest resort properties.
Mombourquette has a reputation in the travel industry as one of its most talented. A solid background in finance and designated chartered accountant, led her to Whistler in 1998 where she worked for nine years with Tourism Whistler in various capacities including director of business operations and most recently, vice president of finance and operations. During her tenure at Tourism Whistler, Mombourquette honed her skills in financial management and other areas of the business including marketing, sales, operations and business strategy. Her knowledge and direction helped in establishing the success of the world-class resort. Following her departure from Tourism Whistler, Mombourquette took the position of general manager of economic viability for the Resort Municipality of Whistler where she spent the past year working with resort partners in supporting the tourism economy. �Diane�s wealth of experience is unquestionable.
