Hyatt Hotels & Resorts Appoints Patrick McCudden as Senior Vice President
of Real Estate and Development, Latin America

CHICAGO (January 24, 2008) - Hyatt Hotels & Resorts has announced the appointment of Patrick McCudden as Senior Vice President of Real Estate and Development, Latin America, as part of the company�s ongoing efforts to advance future growth and brand-preference objectives. McCudden is based at Hyatt�s corporate headquarters in Chicago. 
 
�We are delighted to have Patrick join Hyatt to head our development team in Latin America,� said Steve Haggerty, Global Head Real Estate and Development for Global Hyatt Corporation. �He brings extensive experience working in development for top companies, including 17 years with Marriott, and special knowledge of the hotel, residential and timeshare sectors. Over the course of 2008, we will continue to add key staff to our development team, with specific focus on the expansion of Hyatt�s full-service and select-service brands in Latin America.� 
 
In his new role, McCudden will lead efforts to pursue brand development opportunities throughout Latin America for all brands in Hyatt�s current portfolio. In addition, he will assist with opportunities for new Hyatt Vacation Ownership properties and other large-scale, mixed-use resort developments across the entire Americas region. 
 
Prior to joining Hyatt, McCudden was executive vice president at Juno Properties, LLC, a private real estate development company specializing in the development of private, gated golf communities. Earlier, he held a series of senior executive positions with Marriott International�s development organization where he was for 17 years, and was most recently responsible for the development of Ritz-Carlton Club projects, which often included residential and hotel components. 
 
McCudden is a graduate of Cornell University�s School of Hotel Administration.
