Leading Luxury Hotel Company
to Offer its Meeting Planners
|KIRKLAND, WASHINGTON - February 25, 2008 - Passkey, the worldwide leader
in online group reservations, today announced that MTM Luxury Lodging has
chosen to deploy Passkey at seven of its properties across the United States.
With Passkey, MTM can offer meeting planners a superior booking experience,
along with the tools needed to manage meetings and events with the same
exceptional levels of service that are prevalent throughout the entire
MTM properties range in size from 62 to 298 rooms and all properties share a common culture when it comes to their ability to deliver a technology-enabled level of personalized service to guests. With the selection of Passkey, MTM is extending this superior service by offering meeting planners a consistent and reliable set of booking capabilities across each of the seven properties. In doing so, MTM will ensure that planners enjoy successful events at each hotel, whether it's The Liberty Hotel in Boston or Hotel 1000 in Seattle.
Specifically MTM will be able to provide each group with a dedicated website where event attendees can make their hotel reservations online via a user-friendly booking process, while meeting planners can drop off rooming lists at a secure location. In both cases, reservations will flow directly and accurately to MTM's property management system (PMS). Meanwhile, planners and hotel staff will be able to monitor and manage each group's reservations and block pick-up in real-time, helping them maximize revenues while minimizing reservation costs, errors and overhead.
"Each member of the MTM family truly differentiates itself in the industry, not just with the uniqueness of the property but with the ability of each hotel to deliver the high-level service that customers demand," said James Simkins, Partner at MTM Luxury Lodging. "Passkey is clearly the pioneer in the online group reservation space and we are excited to work with them to empower meeting planners to more easily and consistently extend the full 'MTM experience' to top level group meetings."
"With this decision MTM has demonstrated it truly understands what planners are demanding: A consistent booking experience across all events, venues and locations," said Greg Pesik, president and CEO of Passkey. "Passkey provides the MTM team the tools needed to fully tap the group meeting market and ensure that each and every event meets the high standards of the organization."
MTM plans to deploy Passkey in the following properties: Liberty Hotel (Boston, MA), Ivy Hotel (San Diego, CA), Hotel 1000 (Seattle, WA), Woodmark Hotel, Yacht Club & Spa (Kirkland, WA), Alderbrook Resort and Spa (Union, WA), Willows Lodge (Woodinville, WA) and the Bardessono Inn (Napa Valley, CA).
