(Nasdaq: AGYS), a leading provider of innovative information technology and hospitality software solutions, announced today that Cannery Casino Resorts in Las Vegas has selected the Lodging Management System(R) (LMS) property management system by Agilysys to streamline operations at three properties - Cannery Casino & Hotel and East Side Cannery, both in Las Vegas, and The Meadows Racetrack and Casino in Pittsburgh. "We needed a robust property management system that was designed to handle a busy hotel and casino operation, and LMS was the obvious choice," said Michael Day, chief information officer at Cannery Casino Resorts. "The system's flexibility and functionality, which are unsurpassed in the industry, will allow us to centralize our business and improve efficiency at each property." LMS is a comprehensive property management solution that automates every aspect of a hotel's operations - from reservations and credit card processing to accounting and housekeeping. The Web-enabled system is based on a services- oriented architectural framework that offers maximum flexibility and minimal upkeep. Its versatile foundation expands to incorporate additional modules for activities scheduling, attraction ticketing, food and beverage, itinerary planning, online reservations, remote check-in and more. Cannery Casino Resorts also will use LMS CASH(R), a credit authorization and settlements handling module, to provide instant online credit card approval combined with express check-in, and LMS ResNet(TM), a Web-based real- time reservation system, to enable online shoppers to book room reservations directly into the LMS property management system. The DataMagine Report Archive module will enable the properties to streamline recordkeeping by automatically capturing, indexing and filing business form documents and reports, such as invoices, credit memos, purchase orders and checks.
