Waterford Hotel Group Appoints Kevin Pagnano
and Tina Fleming to General Manager Posts
| MYSTIC, CT (October 11, 2007) --- Waterford Hotel Group
recently announced the appointment of Kevin Pagnano as general manager
of the Residence Inn by Marriott in Mystic, CT and Tina Fleming as general
manager of the Courtyard by Marriott in Norwich, CT .
Both properties are managed by Waterford Hotel Group, Inc., a national hotel management firm currently operating 26 properties.
�Kevin brings a wealth of hospitality knowledge to his position at the Residence Inn,� said Terry Bickhardt, President of Operations and Marketing for Waterford Hotel Group. �We are excited to welcome him to our team and are certain he will excel at this property,� added Bickhardt. Pagnano is a graduate of Southern Maine Community College, where he earned a degree in Hotel Motel & Restaurant Management. He is a native of Union, ME.
Fleming joined Waterford in 2002 as director of sales for the Residence Inn by Marriott in Burlington, VT. Her past experience includes director of sales at the Residence Inn Denver Tech Center in Denver, CO, and evening hotel manager/VIP guest services at the Colony Hotel in Palm Beach, FL. Fleming most recently served as general manager for the Residence Inn by Marriott and Whitehall Mansion, both in Mystic, CT. In addition to her hospitality management experience, Fleming is a graduate of Waterford�s Penn State Leadership Series, a management certificate program offered to company managers. �Tina has shown herself to be a true asset throughout her career with Waterford,� commented Terry Bickhardt, president and COO for Waterford Hotel Group, Inc. �We welcome her to the team in Norwich and wish her great success,� added Bickhardt. As
general manager Kevin Pagnano will oversee all operational, sales
and administrative aspects of the hotel. He has many years experience with
Marriott International, including general manager positions at both the
Residence Inn by Marriott at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL, and the Park
Avenue Courtyard by Marriott in Memphis, TN. His experience with Marriott
also includes experience as operations manager of the Windy Hill Courtyard
by Marriott in Atlanta, GA. and as both catering sales manager and housekeeping
manager at the Washington Marriott in Washington, DC. Pagnano comes to
Waterford most recently from AMI Contract Foodservice in Madison, CT, where
he served as sales manager.
As
general manager, Tina Fleming will be responsible for all phases
of the hotel�s operations, sales and administration, including the management
of approximately 50 associates.
