Scott Siebert Appointed Director of Food & Beverage at the

MIAMI, FL �October 25, 2007� The Eden Roc Renaissance Beach Resort & Spa, currently undergoing a $170 million transformation, is pleased to announce the appointment of Scott Siebert as Director of Food & Beverage.  Siebert brings almost 20 years of luxury F & B management experience in the Marriott brand, most recently serving as Director of Food & Beverage at the JW Marriott Starr Pass Resort & Spa in Tucson, AZ.  He will be responsible for executing the opening of three F & B outlets at the Bold New Eden Roc, and managing all Culinary Operations after the beach resort opens in 2008.

Siebert gained valuable restaurant opening experience at the Starr Pass Resort, where he oversaw the opening of seven F & B outlets, all Culinary Operations and all F & B purchasing.  Additionally, he served on the Executive Committee of the Resort and helped to achieve a AAA 4 Diamond rating four months after the hotel opened.  The property received the 2006 High Performance Hotel for Food and Beverage for Western Region Full Service Marriott and Renaissance Hotels.  Siebert also serves on the Restaurant & Bar Advisory Board for Marriott International.

Prior to the JW Marriott Starr Pass Resort & Spa, Siebert spent 16 years working his way up the Food & Beverage management chain at the Desert Spring JW Marriott in Palm Desert, CA.  Beginning as a Lounge Supervisor in 1988, he achieved the status of Assistant Director of Food & Beverage before he left the property in 2004.  Siebert holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing from California State University in San Bernardino.

The Bold New Eden Roc, a Renaissance Resort & Spa, will reopen it first phase Winter 2008 with 349 new guest rooms and suites. In its final phase, a fabulous new tower boasting all oceanfront rooms and suites will open in late 2008 with five-fixture bathrooms, oversized balconies with private hot tub, and luxurious new bedding to create a combined total of 632 rooms.
