Asheville, N.C. September 20 -- Palmetto Investment Group announces the near completion of the newest Hampton Inn in Columbia, S.C. The 80-room hotel will showcase the newest Hampton Inn design elements with a residential flare. All rooms will feature high speed internet access, 32-inch LCD TVs, Micro-Fridge units and the Hampton Signature Cloud 9 bedding package. Amenities include a state of the art fitness center, pool, Suite Shop, exterior courtyard areas ideal for private functions, meeting capacity for up to 100 people and a private boardroom. The smoke-free property is located in one of the most rapidly developing areas in South Carolina within close proximity to the area�s demand generators. The opening date is set for January 15, 2008.
