.

PARADISE TOWNSHIP, Pa., Oct. 22, 2007 - Mount Airy Casino Resort, a $412 million luxury resort destination located in the heart of the Pocono Mountains, opened its doors to the public in ceremonies marking the facility’s official grand opening today. Opening its doors just 15 months after officially breaking ground, the spectacular new casino resort is expected to spur the region’s tourism even as it brings Northeastern Pennsylvania’s hospitality offerings to a whole new level.

The opening of the casino, complete with 2,523 slot machines, and the resort’s four dining establishments, marks the first major milestone of Mount Airy’s Phase I development, which will include a luxurious new hotel, a salon and spa, a fitness center, and great new dining, entertainment, and retail shopping venues for patrons.

“The goal in developing Mount Airy Casino Resort was to create a world-class destination resort in the heart of the Pocono Mountains,” said owner Louis DeNaples, a Pennsylvania businessman. “We expect that Mount Airy Casino Resort will draw many more visitors to the Poconos, and that’s what we have always wanted—to create a place that complements the Poconos and is good for business throughout the region.”

“It’s a great day for the Poconos and a great day for Pennsylvania,” DeNaples said.

“At Mount Airy Casino Resort, guests will be able to enjoy a complete entertainment and gaming experience,” said Joe D’Amato, the resort’s Chief Executive Officer. “We want to be known as a great place for people to come to get away and relax and play. This is unlike anything available in the region today and I think there is going to be a definite “wow” factor when people first walk into the building.”

The casino features a mix of reel-spinning machines and the newest themed video slots, as well as progressive jackpots. Patrons will also be able to play the latest video poker, blackjack with virtual dealers, and roulette games. Slot denominations will range from penny machines to $25 machines. Dining options at the new resort include Red Steakhouse, offering the highest quality steaks and the freshest seafood; Le Sorelle Cucina, offering Italian delicacies; Betty’s Diner, featuring All-American dining; and The Buffet at Mount Airy, open 24 hours a day.

Mount Airy Casino Resort’s luxurious hotel is set to open its doors to the public on November 15th and is now taking reservations. The guest rooms are elegantly designed with outstanding amenities and features, exceeding the highest quality rooms available in the Pocono Mountains. Each room and suite has been designed with the goal of obtaining a four-star rating, including features such as pillow-top beds, a 37-inch LCD TV, Internet access, and a luxuriously appointed bathroom. Room options include King or Double Queen Rooms and spacious King Suites. Reservations can be made by calling Mount Airy Casino Resort at 1-877-682-4791.

In December 2007, Mount Airy Casino Resort will open the upscale Gypsies Lounge Nightclub, offering a mix of live bands, DJs and comedy acts. Also in December, Mount Airy Casino Resort will open its luxury spa and salon which will provide guests with a range of invigorating spa treatments, including facials, skin treatments, personalized massages and more.

Work on the 891-acre site will continue after the resort’s opening, with an additional 212 hotel rooms, pool, and a casino with up to 3,000 total slot machines scheduled for completion by the end of 2008.
