“We could not be happier to bring the Embassy Suites concept to Valencia, increasing the brand’s presence in Southern California, which is a key market for us,” said Jim Holthouser, senior vice president of brand management, Embassy Suites Hotels. “Bringing our friends at Island Hospitality into the Embassy Suites family, meets a strategic goal of broadening our developer base and increasing the number of Embassy Suites properties open, under construction or in the pipeline, to 300 by 2010.”

“Additionally, we are pleased to debut many of the defining characteristics of the Design Option III prototype, giving our guests a preview of the new design and a smaller, more intimate Embassy Suites,” added Holthouser.

Camco Pacific served as the contractor for the hotel, and blended features of the hotel brand’s new prototype design, specifically the hotel’s double-loaded corridors and side-by-side suite design.
