Millennium Bostonian Hotel in Boston Appoints Three Executives

Including Dominique Marty as General Manager
November 20, 2007 (New York, NY) � Millennium Hotels &
Resorts is pleased to announce three appointments to the managerial team
of the Millennium Bostonian hotel in Boston, Mass.: Dominique Marty as
General Manager, Edward Carey as Director of Sales & Marketing, and
Sean Moesman as Director of Food & Beverage. With an abundance of experience
in the hospitality industry between them, the trio will be instrumental
in ushering in a new era for the 201-room hotel, which will undergo a $23
million renovation beginning in January 2008.
Dominique Marty, General Manager With 16 years of experience in management and operations at prominent hotel companies including Ritz Carlton, Interstate and Wyndham, Marty will be responsible for all operations at Millennium Bostonian, including overseeing the hotel�s management team. Prior to joining Millennium Hotels & Resorts, Marty spent the past year-and-a-half as General Manager of The Doubletree Boston in Westborough. Previously, he held management positions at a series of properties including as General Manager of The Wyndham Westborough (2004-2006) and The Tremont Boston (2003-2004); Hotel Manager of Westin Bonaventure Hotel and Suites in Los Angeles (2002-2003); Director of Operations at Laguna Cliffs Marriott Resort in Dana Point, California (2000-2003); and Rooms Director, Food and Beverage Director and Hotel Manager at The Charles Hotel in Cambridge (1993-2000). He got his start in U.S. hospitality as Assistant Head Concierge of The Ritz Carlton Atlanta in 1984. A native of Paris, Marty currently resides in Lexington, Mass., with his wife Deborah and two children Phillip and Nöelle. Edward Carey, Director of Sales & Marketing A longtime sales professional with in-depth experience in and around Boston, Carey will be responsible for all sales operations at Millennium Bostonian. Prior to joining Millennium Hotels & Resorts, Carey was Director of Sales & Marketing for the Sheraton Ferncroft Resort Hotel, a Sage Hospitality property in Danvers, Massachusetts. Previously, he held hospitality sales positions including Area Director of Sales & Marketing for Hilton Boston Logan Airport and Hilton Boston Back Bay from 2000-2004; Director of Sales & Marketing at the University Park Hotel at MIT in Cambridge, Massachusetts, from 1997-1999; and Director of Sales & Marketing for Doubletree Guests Suites Hotel in Boston from 1992-1997. He launched his career as Senior Sales Manager at the former Stouffer Hotel in Bedford, Massachusetts, in 1986. Carey grew up in Newton, Mass., where he studied sales at Newton Junior College. He currently resides in Waltham, Mass., with his wife Annmarie and two children, Gillian and Matthew. Sean Moesman, Director of Food & Beverage A restaurant professional with managerial experience at top-rated dining rooms in Boston and Alberta, Canada, Moesman is responsible for all culinary operations at Millennium Bostonian including the Atrium Lounge, in-room dining and special events. Prior to joining the hotel, Moesman spent three years as General Manager of Meritage the Restaurant at the Boston Harbor Hotel. Previously, he was Manager of the award-winning Oak Room and Oak Bar at the Fairmont Copley Plaza Hotel in Boston from 2002-2004; Assistant Beverage Manager at the Delta Calgary Airport Hotel in Calgary, Alberta, from 1996-2002; and Assistant Banquets Manager at the Delta Lodge at Kananaskies in Kananaskies, Alberta, from 1995-1996. His first restaurant position was as a server in the formal dining room at the Canadian Pacific Calgary Airport Hotel in 1990. A native of Calgary, he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business from the University of Calgary in 1992.
