Thomas Becker Named General Manager of The Harmon

announces that seasoned luxury hotel operator Thomas Becker has been named
General Manager of The Harmon Hotel, Spa & Residences, opening in Fall
2009 at MGM Mirage�s CityCenter.
An international hospitality management professional with over 20 years of experience, Mr. Becker has managed and developed hotel operations in multiple countries around the globe including Germany, United States, Singapore, Hong Kong and the Island of Mauritius. �Thomas' global expertise and leadership successes will be instrumental to The Harmon's development and his hospitality management skills share the highest standards of luxury and service that The Harmon will embrace� says Andrew Sasson, founder and owner of The Harmon�s operating company, The Light Group. Prior to joining The Harmon, Mr. Becker held various operational positions including six years as General Manager for the Fairmont Sonoma Spa in Sonoma, California, three years as Resort Manager of the award winning One & Only Le Saint Geran Hotel, Mauritius, and ten years of progressively senior posts with Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group in Singapore, San Francisco and Hong Kong. The gateway to CityCenter, MGM Mirage�s $7.8 billion �city-within-a-city,� The Harmon Hotel, Spa & Residences will be one of the most luxurious boutique-style hotels across the globe when it opens in Fall 2009.
