Rudy Sharp Named Managing Director of the
223-room Edgewater in Seattle

WA . . December 18, 2007. . Seattle-based Noble House Hotels & Resorts
announced the appointment of Rudy Sharp to Managing Director of its 223-room
flagship property, The Edgewater, according to Noble House President Greg
Champion.
Sharp, who brings more than 22 years of revered hospitality experience to Seattle�s iconic waterfront property, will be responsible for all facets of the resort�s daily operations. �We�re pleased to welcome Rudy to the Noble House family,� said Champion. �His vast experience in hotel management, knowledge of the Seattle market and unwavering commitment to superior customer service make him the perfect choice to lead our Edgewater team. All of us take great pride in his appointment, and we see great things ahead for The Edgewater under his dynamic leadership.� Prior to joining The Edgewater, Sharp has held a variety of executive level, upper management and regional area positions for high end destination resorts and resort communities. He was most recently Area Manager for Centex Hospitality Group, the resort division of Centex Homes, out of Austin, Texas, where he was responsible for start up operations, vacation rental programs, planning and development for three resort communities encompassing 4,000 units at build out. Throughout his illustrious 22 year career, Sharp has held the title of Managing Director or General Manager for such high end properties as the 330-room Magnolia Hotel in Dallas; the 499-unit, 1800-acre Sunriver Resort in Bend, Oregon; and the 479-room LaCosta Resort & Spa in Southern California. He also spent more than 14 years with Westin Hotels & Resorts in various operational and food/beverage management positions in Hawaii, Dallas, Seattle, Indianapolis and Kansas City. A native of Seattle, Sharp graduated from the University of Washington with a bachelor of science degree in psychology and economics. He has been an active board member with The United Way, Habitat for Humanity, and numerous Downtown Improvement Districts and Hotel Associations.
