Riu Hotels & Resorts Begins Construction of its 14th
Mexican Resort,
the 484 suite Riu Palace Pacifico in Puerto Vallarta

of the new $150 million Riu Santa Fe in Cabo San Lucas, Riu Hotels &
Resorts commenced construction of its newest Mexican property. The Riu
Palace Pacifico will be RIU�s third hotel in Puerto Vallarta and bring
Riu Palace level accommodations, luxuries and amenities to this popular
destination for the first time.

Set to open in October 2008, the Riu Palace Pacifico will be RIU�s 14th Mexican resort including six resorts in Playa del Carmen, three in Cancun, two in Puerto Vallarta and two in Cabo San Lucas.
