The Vietnam Investment & Project Development Group (VIPD Group) was formed by the partners of TCK Group and a number of Vietnamese partners, who have been involved together with various projects in Vietnam, for a number of years.

Through the partners in the VIPD Group, international experience is combined with local knowledge and connections.   An experienced team of hospitality & property development professionals has joined forces to develop quality resorts in Vietnam.  

With offices in six locations around Vietnam in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Sa Pa, Da Lat, Phan Thiet and Phu Quoc, the VIPD Group is well-placed to serve domestic and international investors who are seeking to develop resorts in Vietnam.

The VIPD Group is headed by its Chief Executive Officer, Karl Derek John, who is a hotelier with twenty-years operational experience and a thirteen year involvement with Vietnam, thus he is no stranger to Vietnam.  He joined Hilton International in 1973 and has worked for a number of leading hospitality organisations before first coming to Vietnam in 1994, since 2002 he has been living in Hanoi.

The VIPD Group combines the skills of a hotelier, property developer, construction expert, project manager, mechanical engineer, certified public accountant, risk analysis expert, architect, management consultant, legal consultant, trainer, human resources specialist and business facilitator.

The Life Heritage Resort Sapa is a Joint Venture invested by Vietnam Hotel Projekt B.V. a company controlled by the parent company of Life Resorts Management Company (http://www.life-resorts.com/V003/index.html), together with Blue Ocean Company Ltd (http://www.blueoceanresort.com/).  

Life Resorts plans to establish a chain of resorts throughout Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos to provide their clients with a true Indochina experience.  The resort will combine many aspects of the local culture and be an architectural celebration of the vibrant region.
