James Rowe Named Director of Acquisitions and
Development for Thayer Lodging Group
ANNAPOLIS, Md., September 10, 2007�Thayer Lodging Group today announced that James Rowe has joined the company as director of acquisitions and development. In his new role, he will seek out new growth opportunities for the company. �James has an exceptional background in numerous aspects of real estate with a recent focus on hotels,� said Leland Pillsbury, Thayer co-founder and co-chairman. �He adds further depth to our development team, and will play a key role in our underwriting process as we continue to deliver above-market returns to our investors.� Rowe will report to Bill Reynolds, Chief Investment Officer. Prior to joining Thayer, Rowe was an investment sales associate with Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels in its Chicago office, where he worked on hotel investment sales and financings of more than $800 million in transaction value. His responsibilities included due diligence management, market analysis, financial modeling and projections, asset valuations and preparation of offering materials for potential investors. Previously, the five-year real estate veteran worked in Raymond James & Associates� investment banking department in both the Financial Services and Real Estate groups. Rowe holds an MBA with a concentration in Real Estate and Marketing from the J. L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and graduated magna cum laude with a BA in Economics from Vanderbilt University. About Thayer Lodging Group
