Hotel Equities Names Andrew Pace as
Director of Acquisitions and Construction

ATLANTA (September 26, 2007) �Atlanta-based Hotel Equities (HE) recently named Andrew J. Pace to the position of Director of Acquisitions and Construction.  His focus and responsibilities include determining market feasibility of multiple new hotel development projects and acquisition-conversion opportunities.  He provides entitlement, permitting, construction and development services for company owned and affiliated projects primarily utilizing the Marriott and Hilton brands.

Before the move to Hotel Equities, Mr. Pace served as President of Development & Acquisitions for Longhouse Hospitality, an Atlanta-based owner and operator of the Sun Suites, Crestwood Suites and Jameson Inn hotel brands. Unique to many developers, Mr. Pace also has extensive operations experience having served as President of Park Management Group, an affiliate of Longhouse Hospitality.  He was responsible for managing 600 employees, including a corporate staff of 22, for the privately-owned lodging chain of 42 extended stay hotels and six third-party managed hotels.  

Mr. Pace began his hospitality career as founder and president of SuiteOne Hotels, LLC where he developed and operated seven extended stay hotels in the Southeast.  A past member of the American Hotel & Lodging Association (AHLA) Extended Stay Council, he presently serves on the Advisory Board for Georgia State University's Cecil B. Day School of Hospitality.  He is as an executive officer of the State of Georgia following an appointment in 1999 to the State Board of Architects and Interior Designers.  
 
A graduate of Georgia State University with a B.B.A. in Marketing, Mr. Pace holds an Executive MBA from Mercer University in Atlanta.  He and his wife Andrea are the parents of three teenage boys.  A leader in many community activities, Mr. Pace enjoys playing ALTA tennis, gardening and traveling. He and his family reside in Lawrenceville.
