Gansevoort South Hotel in Miami's South Beach
Miami, FL, (July 2007) � Robert Van Eerde has been named Managing Director of the new 334-room Gansevoort South hotel in Miami's South beach. Robert Van Eerde brings more than two decades of experience to the position. With expertise in new hotel openings and a strong knowledge of the Miami market, Van Eerde was carefully paired to lead the opening of Gansevoort Hotel Group's second urban luxury resort, Gansevoort South. Known for his successful hotel openings around the world, Van Eerde brings an international panache and finely honed management skills to Gansevoort South. He has previously launched the Carnegie Club at Skibo Castle in Scotland, the Almenara Spa/Golf Resort in Spain, the Marina Club in the United Arab Emirates and spent several years running U2's Clarence hotel in Dublin. This dynamic expertise was a leading reason for Gansevoort Hotel Group to handpick him for the brand's expansion. As Managing Director of the new hotel, Van Eerde will oversee all hotel service and operations.
