  John Q. Hammons Building a 263-suite Embassy Suites® Hotel
with a 75,000-square-foot Convention Center
in Loveland, Colorado
LOVELAND, Colo., & SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - July 24, 2007 - Mr. John Q. Hammons today announced his plans to build an eight-story, 263-suite Embassy Suites® Hotel and adjoining 75,000-square-foot convention center in Loveland, Colo. Located off I-25 and US-34, the development will join The Ranch and Budweiser Events Center, a 243-acre fairground and events complex in Larimer County. The all-suite, luxury hotel will be owned by Mr. Hammons and managed by Springfield, Mo.-based John Q. Hammons Hotels & Resorts, the nation�s leading independent builder, developer, owner and manager of upscale, full-service hotels, resorts and suites . 

The Embassy Suites Loveland, Colorado Hotel and Convention Center will reside on 20 acres of land on the northeast quadrant of I-25 and US-34 with convenient access to Greely; Fort Collins; Estes Park; Cheyenne, Wyo.; Windsor; Longmont; Boulder; and Denver. The upscale facility will be next to the Fort Collins-Loveland Airport and located near several of northern Colorado�s largest economic drivers, including nearby Hewlett-Packard, Agilent Technologies, Wal-Mart Distribution Center, Hach Company, and one of Anheuser-Busch�s breweries. Additionally, the hotel�s business will be supported by Colorado State University, which has a resident student population of 25,000 and boasts 6,980 faculty and staff. In addition, the Embassy Suites Loveland, Colorado Hotel and Convention Center will be strategically located near a new 1 million-square-foot, 60-acre shopping center being developed by Loveland-based McWhinney.

�We have worked closely with Larimer County and the city of Loveland to bring a premier hotel to the area,� said Mr. Hammons, founder, chairman and chief executive officer of John Q. Hammons Hotels & Resorts. �The hotel and convention center will support the increased need for hotel rooms and meeting space and embody the high level of quality that the county and city officials have visualized for the fairgrounds.� 

Mr. Bob Herrfeldt, director of The Ranch, anticipates the hotel and convention center will produce approximately $65 million in revenue for Larimer County over the 55-year ground lease arranged with Mr. Hammons. 

Construction of the 276,000-square-foot hotel is underway and is anticipated to open by March 1, 2009. Upon completion, the Embassy Suites Loveland, Colorado Hotel is expected to be the largest hotel north of Denver to Canada. 

The Embassy Suites  Loveland, Colorado Hotel and Convention Center marks the fourth full-service hotel Mr. Hammons has built along the Colorado front range and complements the company�s expanding western U.S. footprint. Earlier this year, Mr. Hammons also announced developments in Boise, Idaho, and Provo/Pleasant Grove, Utah.

About the Development 

To be built with the signature atrium style of John Q. Hammons Hotels & Resorts, the Embassy Suites Loveland, Colorado Hotel will boast an architectural style that complements the design of the convention center. The hotel�s décor will emit a contemporary flair that invites guests to enjoy the exceptional appointments and outstanding customer service that defines the John Q. Guests may enjoy a luxurious open atrium with a water feature. The hotel will offer 24-hour room service, same-day dry cleaning, and daily cooked-to-order breakfast.
