- Mr. John Q. Hammons today announced his plans to build an eight-story,
263-suite Embassy Suites® Hotel and adjoining 75,000-square-foot convention
center in Loveland, Colo. Located off I-25 and US-34, the development will
join The Ranch and Budweiser Events Center, a 243-acre fairground and events
complex in Larimer County. The all-suite, luxury hotel will be owned by
Mr. Hammons and managed by Springfield, Mo.-based John Q. Hammons Hotels
& Resorts, the nations leading independent builder, developer, owner

reside on 20 acres of land on the northeast quadrant of I-25 and US-34
with convenient access to Greely; Fort Collins; Estes Park; Cheyenne, Wyo.;
Windsor; Longmont; Boulder; and Denver. The upscale facility will be next
to the Fort Collins-Loveland Airport and located near several of northern
Colorados largest economic drivers, including nearby Hewlett-Packard,
Agilent Technologies, Wal-Mart Distribution Center, Hach Company, and one
of Anheuser-Buschs breweries. Additionally, the hotels business will
be supported by Colorado State University, which has a resident student
population of 25,000 and boasts 6,980 faculty and staff. In addition, the
Embassy Suites Loveland, Colorado Hotel and Convention Center will be strategically
located near a new 1 million-square-foot, 60-acre shopping center being
developed by Loveland-based McWhinney.
.
