MCLEAN, VA (July 24, 2007) � Travel and hospitality marketers will
have the opportunity to show off their creativity, talent and ROI-producing
pieces, programs, and campaigns by entering the Adrian Awards competition,
the largest and most prestigious worldwide travel marketing showing of
the industry�s top talent. Entries are being accepted online through

A well-renowned program of the Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association
International (HSMAI), this worldwide competition honors innovation, action-producing
advertising, public relations and web marketing in hospitality, travel
and tourism. All entries must be submitted online at www.AdrianAwards.com.
In its 51st year, the program makes up the largest travel-related marketing
competition of its kind, embracing every segment of the industry including
hotels, airlines, attractions, car rental companies, casinos, convention
centers, cruise lines, destinations, restaurants, and spas, as well as
timeshare and extended stay properties and industry suppliers. Last
year�s �Best of Show� winners were Hilton Hotels, Royal Caribbean International
and Starwood Hotels & Resorts.

What and who are eligible to receive awards?
The competition is open to all travel-related industries. Work completed
after January 1, 2005 is eligible for entry. Entries submitted in prior
years may be resubmitted if the results of the campaign have changed significantly,
or if additional elements have been added to the piece or program after
January 1, 2005.
All entries are submitted online. Each entry must include a completed
communications statement, including information on marketing objectives,
target audience, research and planning, message, results, and budget. Supporting
materials can be uploaded in a variety of electronic formats. To avoid
entry problems, review file format and size requirements in advance. Click

Entries may be submitted by travel industry organizations, advertising
agencies, public relations firms, or any other type of communications professional;
but entries must be submitted in the name of the organization for which
the work was performed. The services of a public relations firm, advertising
agency, or other promotional service may be used in the preparation and
assembly of all entries.
Award winners may be asked to submit additional materials such as high-resolution
media and a presentation board to be displayed at the gala. Failure to
submit these materials will result in disqualification. |

Marquis during the Adrian Awards Gala, a multifaceted, black-tie networking
event featuring award-winning work, lifetime achievement, and the �Top
25 Most Extraordinary Minds in Sales and Marketing.�
In addition to the Platinum Awards and �Best of Show,� specialty awards
