PHOENIX, Arizona, Aug. 1, 2007 - Andrew Stegen has been appointed the General Manager of the historic Arizona Biltmore Resort & Spa. Mr. Stegen most recently served as the resort's Director of Operations with responsibility for overseeing day-to-day operations since 2003. "Andrew Stegen is uniquely qualified to take the reins of the Arizona Biltmore" stated Ben Fusco, Area Vice President of Hilton Resorts and Hotels-Southwest. "His intimate knowledge of this prestigious property and his dedication to staff and community will ensure the Biltmore continues its reputation as one of the world's premiere destination resorts." Mr. Stegen's nearly two decades of management experience with
luxury hotels and resorts includes serving as Executive Assistant Manager
of both Loews Santa Monica Beach Hotel, in Santa Monica, California, and
Loews Coronado Bay Resort, Coronado, California. Previous to that, he worked
extensively in food and beverage in his native Canada with Loews Hotels
in Quebec City, and at the historic Fairmont Le Chateau Frantenac as well
as the Fairmont Banff Springs Resort and Spa.
