May 2007 (Tahiti & Bora Bora) � Le Méridien Tahiti and Le Méridien Bora Bora have announced the appointment of Nicolas Orget as Director of Sales and Marketing. A talent in his field with broad international experience at luxury hotels including Le Méridien Copacabana and Le Méridien Nice, Orget is responsible for all sales and marketing efforts for the sister seaside resorts.

�Nicolas has revealed superb abilities to market Le Méridien�s European-style luxury in Rio de Janeiro and Nice, and we look forward to his leadership in Bora Bora and Tahiti,� said Dominique Michaud, General Manager of Le Méridien Tahiti. 

Prior to joining Le Méridien in French Polynesia, Orget was General Manager of Elcotour, an incentive and specialty tour outfit based in Rio de Janeiro. Prior to that he spent several years with Le Méridien, first as Yield Manager for Le Méridien Nice from 1999-2001, and then as Director of Sales and Marketing for Le Méridien Copacabana from 2002-2005. Orget got his start in hospitality in the early 1990s with Hilton International, including assisting in the opening of Hilton properties in Bucharest and Jerusalem. 

Born and raised in Bordeaux, France, Orget studied hospitality and catering in Paris in the late 1980s and early 1990s.  He will reside in Tahiti.
