Atlantic City, May 3, 2007 - NCL has contracted with Pinnacle Atlantic
City to liquidate the Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment (FF&E) from
this well-known landmark. The liquidation sale will be the first
step in Pinnacles plan to demolish the hotel this fall and replace it
with a larger, more upscale resort.
NCL will offer to the public the contents formerly used in the operation
of the 500-room hotel. Nearly everything will be liquidated, from
the luxurious high roller suites to the commercial kitchen and restaurant
equipment. Other items include king and full beds, mirrors, lamps,
armories, Jacuzzi tubs, pianos, pool tables, fitness equipment, building
fixtures, commercial air conditioners and much more. The event opens May
3rd and will continue until all items are sold. Sale hours are Monday
through Saturday, 10:00 am-7:00 pm and Sunday 12-5 pm.
Past NCL liquidations in Atlantic City include the Marlborough, Blenheim
and Dennis Hotels in 1978 as well as Trump Worlds Fair Hotel Casino prior
to its demolition in 2000 and the Quality Inn Beach Block in 2005.
