News for the Hospitality Executive
SIOUX FALLS SD, May 2, 2007 – LodgeNet Entertainment Corporation announced today that LodgeNet StayOnline will continue its tradition of WiFi innovation and thought-leadership in the hospitality industry with the hosting of the third annual North American WiFi Symposium, to be held May 16-18 at the Omni Hotel Downtown in Austin, Texas.
“We’re gathering some of the most influential IT executives, manufacturers, innovators, consultants, REITs, and owners in the hospitality industry to discuss the challenges, opportunities and new directions currently facing the hospitality industry,” said Antonio DiMilia, President of LodgeNet StayOnline. “Our symposium has proven in the past to be a major event for IT thought-leadership in this industry, and we feel that this year’s event will continue to enforce that tradition.”
This year’s discussions will be led once again by Farpoint Group Technologist, Craig Mathias. Mr. Mathias offers a fresh and unique take on the direction of IP (Internet Protocol) communications in the world today. Also contributing to the discussions this year will be Verizon Business, Cisco, and Spectralink/Polycom.
Attendance at the Symposium is by invitation only. Invitees will include forward-thinking industry leaders who have shown initiative in the development of wireless applications.
“It is exciting that this event has developed such a following in the industry. We are pleased at the positive response it has achieved over the years,” said DiMilia.
