Chicago,
May 16, 2007- Keith J. Hess has been named General Manager of the 858 room
Hilton O'Hare International Airport. In this capacity he will oversee all
aspects of the hotel's operation. Most recently Hess served as General
Manager of the Hilton Omaha, Nebraska's largest hotel and the state's only
AAA Motor Club 4 diamond rated property. In his new role he will
report to Thomas J. Loughlin, Area Vice President of Hilton Hotels Corporation.
Keith Hess is a 19 year veteran of Hilton Hotels Corporation who commenced
his career with the company at the Doubletree Club Hotel in
Lake Buena Vista Florida where he oversaw operations including front
office management and maintenance. Subsequently, Hess served in
management positions of increased responsibility at both the Doubletree
Club Hotel in Jacksonville, Florida and the Doubletree Hotel &
Conference Center in St. Louis Missouri before assuming his first General
Manager's position at the Club Hotel by Doubletree-Chicago
O'Hare Airport in 1996. Other General Manager postings followed at
both the Doubletree Guest Suites Hotel in Downers Drove and the Doubletree
Hotel Downtown Omaha before Hess was named the pre-opening General Manager
of the Hilton Omaha in 2003.
Since 2005 Hess has been the President of the Nebraska Hotel and Motel
Association. He also is an executive board member of the Nebraska Restaurant
Association and a past president of the Greater Omaha SKAL club.
