Benchmark Hospitality Appoints Kelly Martin Cuff
Director of Operations for French Lick Resort Casino
The Woodlands (Houston), Texas, May 1, 2007 - Benchmark Hospitality International has announced the appointment of Kelly Martin Cuff as director of operations for French Lick Resort Casino, located in French Lick, Indiana.  Jerry Gleason, Benchmark's vice president hospitality at the resort, made the announcement.
 
"It gives me great pleasure to announce Kelly's appointment," said Mr. Gleason.  "He brings nearly two decades of senior hospitality management experience to his new role.  We look forward to his active leadership at this remarkable casino resort."
 
Kelly Cuff comes to Benchmark Hospitality at French Lick having previously been the resort manager for Zermatt Resort & Spa of Midway, Utah.  He was part of the opening management team for this resort.
 
Mr. Cuff has also served as general manager for BMO Financial Group Institute for Learning, a corporate conference center located in Toronto, Canada, with clients originating from Fortune 500 companies. He experienced extraordinary success in this role, leading a team that grew revenues substantially during the three years he was on staff.
 
Prior to these assignments, Mr. Cuff served as interim general manager and part of a reorganization team for Aspen Meadows Resort, a boutique resort and home of the Aspen Institute, located in Aspen, Colorado.  
 
For nearly a decade, Cuff was affiliated with Skamania Lodge of Stevenson, Washington, eventually serving as assistant general manager of the luxury golf and conference resort.  This role was the culmination of several positions of increasing responsibility at the lodge, including director of food and beverage, director of conferences, and banquet and catering manager.  He began his career employed in banquets and catering operations at The Salish Lodge, a boutique lodge outside of Seattle, Washington.
 
Kelly Cuff is a graduate of Watcom College of Bellingham, Washington, and attended the University of Washington in Seattle.  He is a certified General Manager through the Ivey School of Business in Toronto.  Mr. Cuff and his family are relocating to the French Lick area.
