Benchmark Hospitality Appoints Jeff Bloom General Manager
for Chaminade of Santa Cruz
The Woodlands (Houston), Texas, May 2, 2007 - Benchmark Hospitality International has announced the appointment of Jeff Bloom as general manager for Chaminade of Santa Cruz, California.  Tom O'Shea, vice president, made the announcement. 

"I am very pleased to welcome Jeff to Benchmark Hospitality at Chaminade," said Mr. O'Shea.  "He comes to the property with over two decades of hospitality leadership experience, a portion of which was spent in California."

A seasoned hotelier, Jeff Bloom was director of sales and marketing for The Renaissance Resort at World Golf Village, prior to his new appointment.  Previous to this he served in the same role for Lake Arrowhead Resort of Lake Arrowhead, California.

Mr. Bloom has held the title of regional director of sales and marketing for Philadelphia-based GF Management, where he was responsible for overseeing ten properties.  He also previously served as general manager for the upscale Doubletree Hotel of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.  When employed with Interstate Hotels Corporation, Bloom held a variety of positions, including director of operations at Marriott's Indian River Plantation in Hutchinson Island, Florida.
