ATLANTA (May 3, 2007) - The Hawthorn Suites off Windy Hill Road in Northwest Atlanta picked up two big honors at the Hawthorn Suites brand's recent conference in Atlanta: 'Hotel of the Year' and 'Community Service Award.' The awards were presented to Marc Greenberg, General Manager. The hotel, owned and operated by Atlanta-based Northwest Atlanta Hotel Partners, L.P., is located amidst a unique 13-acre landscaped setting with 280 one- and two-bedroom suites.
The hotel also received the Quality Excellence Award with a perfect quality and service rating of 100%, based on results of the brand's ongoing Mystery Shopper program.

In addition to being recognized for exemplary operating and service performance, the hotel was credited with exceptional community service.

The hotel takes an active role with the Children's Miracle Network, a national fund-raising alliance, and participates in many community activities such as ongoing walkathons for diabetes and aids, donating sheets, towels and bedding to the Atlanta Union Mission, and gathering toys for an annual 'Toys for Tots' Christmas tree.
