 David Bull Appointed Director of Food and Beverage
at The St. Anthony Hotel, San Antonio, Texas 
May 4, 2007 - The St. Anthony Hotel and La Corsha Hospitality Group LLC are pleased to announce David Bull as Director of Food and Beverage. The Culinary Institute of America graduate will oversee all catering and restaurant offerings. He will work closely with Executive Chef Cesar Gallegos to create the premier culinary destination in San Antonio.

He most recently was the Executive Chef at The Driskill Hotel in Austin. During his time with the Driskill Grill, Mr. Bull has received numerous awards and accolades in addition to appearing on the Food Network’s acclaimed Iron Chef America.  Bull battled Chef Bobby Flay at Kitchen Stadium in the heart of New York City. AAA granted the Driskill Grill a Four-Diamond Award.  Along with naming Bull one of their 10 Best New Chefs, Food and Wine Magazine named the Driskill Grill one of the top 50 Hotel Restaurants in the United States.

He was recently nominated by the James Beard Foundation for  “Best Chef in the Southwest.” He will be attending the awards ceremony in New York City in May.

Apollo Real Estate Advisors has committed to a multimillion-dollar restoration program. The hotel will undergo a complete restoration of all of its guestrooms, public/meeting space and food and beverage offerings. A spa will be added to enhance the guest experience at The St. Anthony Hotel.

Mr. Bull is Chef/Partner with the La Corsha Hospitality Group LLC. La Corsha Hospitality Group is an independent hospitality management company established to develop, renovate, reposition, and manage hotels and restaurants.  Its’ projects located in Austin, San Antonio, and Dallas, Texas include the Seaholm Power Plant, The Saint Anthony Hotel, and The Stoneleigh Hotel and Spa.
