Previously, he honed his management skills and enjoyed a long tenure with the Starwood and Doubletree organizations,� said Joe Pinto, vice president of hotel operations for Oakbrook Hotels, Inc., parent company of Pheasant Run Resort & Spa. 

An integral member of the Starwood general manager team, Larson led many of their significant properties during his 10 year career with that organization. Mike also spent 10 years working within the Doubletree organization and he completed multiple general manager assignments in an array of different Doubletree hotels. 

Larson earned a bachelor�s degree in Hotel Management from the University of Denver and he started his career with the Hyatt organization after graduating from college.
