Including a 276 room Renaissance Hotel in Plano, Texas
Jackson-Shaw will begin construction in September 2007 on a third Dallas-area property, a proposed Renaissance hotel located at the Shops at Legacy, an upscale retail and residential development in Plano, Texas. The nine-story boutique hotel will feature 276 guestrooms, 16,000 square feet of meeting space, 10,000 square feet of retail and an 11,000-square-foot luxury spa. The hotel is expected to be completed by the end of 2008. The fourth property, the eight-story Embassy Suites Jacksonville Airport, will feature 175 guestrooms and nearly 10,000 square feet of conference center meeting space. Construction on this Jacksonville, Florida property will begin in July 2007, with an expected completion date of September 2008. Jackson-Shaw began developing hotel properties in the 1980s.
