at HTNG Booth at HITEC® 2007 CHICAGO (June 21, 2007) � Hotel Technology Next Generation (HTNG) announced today that technology leaders from across the spectrum of the industry will be available to meet with attendees of the Hotel Industry Technology Exposition and Conference (HITEC), being held at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida from June 25-28. Senior hotel technology executives and technical leaders of HTNG�s integration efforts will be available at the HTNG booth #373 throughout the show�s exhibit hours. �HITEC attendees, both hoteliers and exhibitors, are invited to stop by to chat with senior technology executives from hotel companies on the HTNG board; to meet with the hoteliers and vendors who have been leading HTNG�s integration efforts, or just to enjoy a morning cup of coffee or end-of-show cocktail,� said Douglas Rice, Executive Vice President & CEO of HTNG. The schedule of events. detailed below, includes informal opportunities to meet HTNG�s leadership, which consists of CIOs, CTOs, and other senior technology executives from leading hotel companies from around the globe. Also, each HTNG workgroup will have one or more dedicated timeslots where several of the participating hoteliers and vendors will be available to answer questions from hoteliers or vendors interested in their work. HTNG will provide coffee and tea for visitors to its booth each morning of the show, and will host an end-of-show cocktail reception on Thursday afternoon from noon until 2pm. Prospective members are invited to enjoy a glass of wine or beer and to learn more about HTNG from the members who are already actively involved. All of the scheduled timeslots represent informal opportunities to meet and interact with industry leaders, rather than presentations. HTNG�s booth is the place to learn about the latest industry initiatives in interoperability, next-generation guestroom technology, infrastructure, architecture, and other important developments. Kiosks for each active HTNG workgroup will summarize their accomplishments and future directions, and will direct attendees to the booths of exhibiting HTNG members, where many of HTNG�s initiatives can be seen live and in production. Also highlighted will be the first certified products from HTNG�s industry-leading certification program. Launched just three months ago, at least six HITEC exhibitors will be showing HTNG-certified products, with additional vendors hoping to complete certification in time for the show. To date, HTNG certification has been granted to products from Easy (Ez) Revenue Management Solutions, IDeaS, OpenCourse Solutions, PAR Springer-Miller Systems, TAC GmbH, and TRUST International.
