today announced that they have reached an agreement to form a Joint Venture
to provide leading-edge competitive intelligence reporting to the hospitality
industry. This convergence, teams TIMS, the original provider
of competitive rate information to the industry dating back to 1991, and
AnyRate Software, the leading developer and provider of next generation
competitive intelligence software, resulting in an extremely strong enterprise
solely focused on developing and supporting the most accurate competitive
rate tools and services in the industry.
This newly formed Joint Venture will continue to service the current TIMS and AnyRate reports to all current customers. Meanwhile, the knowledge, experience and sales strength of TIMS, partnered with the technological expertise of AnyRate, will lead to various enhancements and new reporting options available to current and prospective hoteliers in the near future. Collectively, this new entity will provide competitive rate data on over 10,000 hotels around the globe.
