Following a $65 million Renovation Stanford Hotels Corporation Reflags

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif.--April 6, 2007 - Located in the heart of Waikiki, the Waikiki Prince Kuhio officially became the Hilton Waikiki Prince Kuhio today following the completion of a $65 million renovation. The hotel features 601 guest rooms and suites, a signature restaurant, a stylish lobby bar, pool deck, business center, fitness center and venues for meetings and group events up to 550. The hotel is situated on the Diamond Head end of Waikiki, one block away from world-famous Waikiki Beach and within walking distance of the area�s major activities and attractions. 

The Waikiki Prince Kuhio is operated by Stanford Hotels Corporation under a franchise license agreement with Hilton Hotels Corporation.

Accommodations 

The warmth and Aloha Spirit of the Islands is felt throughout each of the guest rooms - from the sunlight hues of the bed throws to the headboard and furniture designs that evoke the presence of flower lei, from the elegant curtains to the earth tones of the tiles and carpeting. The laminated crackle glass of the guest bathrooms allow natural light to filter through while lending a feeling of open space to the entire area. Each guest room features the Hilton Serenity Collection® of in-room amenities, including the Hilton Serenity Bath Collection of exclusive Crabtree & Evelyn La Source® bath amenities and the Hilton Serenity Bed, which consists of a Serta Suite Dreams® mattress and box springs, Pacific Coast® down duvet, Super Topper mattress pad, and high quality linen and pillows. Additional in-room amenities include a new 42� plasma TV, housed in exotic South American zebrano and wenge wood cabinets, featuring high definition capabilities and the ability to be used as a computer monitor with direct accessibility from the desktop; Hilton CD clock radios with MP3 connection; and floral artwork.

Activities 

A concierge desk is available in the lobby to assist guests with all requests and needs ranging from car rentals and tours to luaus and surfing lessons. On the 10th floor overlooking beautiful Waikiki, guests can relax at the luxurious outdoor pool with a specially designed sundeck featuring tropical landscaping and a poolside bar with an informal food menu. In addition, the hotel is located within walking distance from the Honolulu Zoo, Kapiolani Park, Waikiki Aquarium, retail shopping and restaurants along Waikiki�s main thoroughfare, Kalakaua Avenue, and the world-famous International Marketplace. 

Business 

An ideal meeting location for meetings and banquets up to 550 people, all function space is conveniently located on the mezzanine, third and fourth floors, and are either wired or equipped with wireless high-speed internet access and feature state-of-the art presentation capability. 

The hotel offers more than 17,000 square feet of flexible indoor meeting space. The Prince Kuhio Grand Ballroom offers 8,000 square feet and the adjacent foyer is more than 2,200 square feet, with the flexibility of being divided into 10 separate room configurations for groups from 35 to 825. The three Territorial Meeting Rooms on the fourth floor offer a combined total of 2,300 square feet for groups of 30 to 55. A total of 4,800 square feet is available in meeting spaces for groups from 24 to 90 on the second floor, and the mezzanine meeting rooms offer approximately another 1,900 square feet of executive meeting space.
