As announced recently, ANA InterContinental Tokyo is the first of 13 hotels across Japan which the company will co-brand and enhance by 2009. Other hotels in the company’s network are also expected to co-brand. Chris Moloney, chief executive officer, IHG ANA Hotels Group Japan,
said: “This hotel is a great representation of the ANA InterContinental
co-brand. It’s the result of teamwork and cooperation, and the combination
of unique strengths that both companies bring to the partnership. As the
pace of co-branding continues, our hotels will gain more of an international
flavour while still maintaining the essence of Japanese hospitality that
has made ANA the number one hotel brand in Japan.”
