Seven Properties, Aromatic Scent to Be the Fragrant Trademark of all Loisir Hotel Lobbies |
(Tokyo�27, March 2007) On March 28th, 2007, Solare Hotels & Resorts Co. Ltd. (www.solarehotels.com) will create another Japan hotel industry first by re-branding seven of its hotels in the record time of a mere month. The new brand to be known as �Loisir Hotel� will become Solare�s Upscale Full Service brand offering �upscale service with local flavor�, including full banquet and wedding services. Totaling some 1,400 guestrooms, the seven hotels which have undergone the �Loisir Hotel� transformation in record time are located in the Japanese cities of Asahikawa, Hokkaido; Atsugi, Kanagawa; Joetsu, Niigata; Yokkaichi, Mie; Ogaki, Gifu; Nagasaki City and Naha, Okinawa. In addition to these seven hotels, plans are afoot to grow the portfolio to 20 hotels which will cover major cities in Japan, including Sapporo, Tokyo, Nagoya, Osaka and Fukuoka. of Loisir � All White�. This aromatic scent set to become the fragrant
trademark of all Loisir Hotel lobbies will create a unique and memorable

The Loisir brand will join Solare Hotels & Resorts� existing portfolio of hotel brands including the smart and functional �Chisun� brand and international �Solare Collection� brand. Hotels to be renamed under the Loisir Hotel brand:
Solare Hotels & Resorts Wins Contract to Manage the Niigata Washington Hotel; Will Rebrand to Chisun Effective August 1, 2007 Solare Hotels & Resorts Co. Ltd. will manage the Chisun Hotel & Conference Center Niigata which until March 31, 2007 had been operating as the Niigata Washington Hotel. Following a change in the ownership of the hotel Solare Hotels & Resorts won the contract to manage the hotel which will commence operation upon completion of a large-scale three-month renovation and total refurbishment of banquet & meeting rooms, guestrooms, interiors, carpets, hotel restaurant and lobby. The Chisun Hotel & Conference Center Niigata will become Solare�s second property in Niigata prefecture, following from its upscale full service brand Lois ir Hotel Joetsu, (formerly known as the Joetsu Manten Hotel). Linked directly to the Joetsu Shinkansen Niigata Station, the Chisun Hotel & Conference Center Niigata is conveniently located as a gateway to the largest city along the coast of the Japan Sea.
